Hi, I'm David.
I make computers and networks go.
I spent nine years working for a wonderful small ISP that specialized in internet connectivity to under-served rural areas.
I now work in the ivory tower.
I read, both printed and electronic varieties of words, though with an admitted bias towards print for no rational reason.
I write, words and code, rarely and well.
I have a wonderful wife who would rather be left out of this Web site entirely.
I sometimes watch people pretend to beat up one another, follow the business of people pretending to beat up one another, and very occasionally pretend to inflict violence too.
I listen to a lot of odd music, and sometimes less-odd (but still very good) music as well.
I spend far too much money and time tinkering with gadgets.
For the time being, there's not much content here; you may be better-served by tracking me down on Facebook or Twitter.
